  1. Anime Expo® Masquerade is open to all Anime Expo® attendees who are in good standing.
  2. All Skit entries must be 2 minutes or less and all Walk-On entries must be 1 minute or less.
  3. All applications will be reviewed & prescreened after Registration closes to ensure all entries do not violate any Cosplay Events Rules and whether special requests can be accommadated. The Online Registration form must be filled out by the contact person of the group or individual entering Masquerade.
  4. NEW Online Registration will close on May 20, 2008 or when 100 submissions have be received, which ever comes first.
  5. NEW The Masquerade will have 50 primary entries and 30 standby entries.
  6. All contestants must fill out and sign the General Release & Waiver Form.
  7. Any contestant under 18 years of age at the time of the Masquerade, must have their parent or legal guardian sign the appropriate section of the General Release & Waiver Form.
  8. All contestants or the contact person for the entry must check in at the Cosplay Events Info Desk for final updates, information, submission of late paperwork and audio files. Final Check In is Friday, July 4th at 12 pm (Noon).
  9. NEW One representative from each Primary and Standby Entry MUST attend the Mandatory Masquerade Meeting. This meeting covers information about the Nokia Theatre and to receive Backstage Pass(es).
  10. At-Con Registration will be available at the Cosplay Events Info Desk as space permits.
  11. There will be no microphones on stage for contestant use.
  12. Anime Expo® will not provide music for entries. All dialogue/music must be prerecorded on CDR in one of the following formats:
        a. wav (preferred)
        b. mp3 (44.1KHz/16 bit files aka Radio Quality)
        c. CD Audio (regular CD music)
  13. NEW All CDs must be received by Friday, June 20, 2008 . Keep recordings to the 2 minute or 1 minute time limit. If any reco(chopped) at the 1 or 2 minute mark.
  14. NEW At-Con Registration entry groups must submit their CDs no later than 12 pm on Friday, July 4, 2008.
  15. NEW The Cosplay Events Department will only accept single track CDs. Do not send official music CDs with instructions on which track to play. Anime Expo® and its staff will not be held responsible if any CDs are lost or stolen. Any CD not picked up by July 6, 2008 will become the property of Anime Expo®.
